IN A MAJOR EXPANSION, CEITRONICS ENLARGES
NETWORK GROUP, ADDS FULL MENU OF IT SERVICES

Information Relocation Services Also Offered for First Time

SAN JOSE, CA (October 18, 2001)–Ceitronics, Inc., a leading systems integrator in Northern California, today announced a major expansion of its network services, along with the addition of a full portfolio of IT services and consulting, including workstation and network relocation services.

The expansion will allow Ceitronics to offer end-to-end technology solutions to ensure that customers have the IT infrastructure they need to advance their businesses. Ceitronics has also added two additional offices in Northern California to provide increased customer support.

Ceitronics has long been known as a leader in providing cutting-edge communications solutions, including A/V and presentation systems, enterprise security systems, and fire-life safety systems to businesses and institutions. With the expansion, Ceitronics can not only install a cable network and hook up all the communication devices that run over it–it can also plan and design the entire IT infrastructure.

"Ceitronics can now provide customers with a turnkey approach to the design and installation of any system or device that runs over their networks, with complete services under one roof," said Aaron Colton, president of Ceitronics.

The expansion is part of a corporate reorganization that originated with Ceitronics’ parent company, Cupertino Electric Inc. (CEI). Under the reorganization, Ceitronics absorbed Cupertino Electric’s Network Systems Group, adding over 100 staff to widen its network systems capabilities.

Brent Neville, Vice President of Technology Solutions for CEI, is spearheading the development of Ceitronics’ IT services and consulting. Mr. Neville is founder and former lead consultant at NVS Consulting Group, Inc., which provides IT project management and consulting. Before forming NVS, Mr. Neville served as group president for Sasco Data Systems for 10 years.

New Offices

In order to provide broader service within the Northern California area, Ceitronics is now offering its expanded services through four separate offices. In addition to the Ceitronics corporate headquarters at 550 Parrott Street in San Jose, these additional locations include:

  • The opening of a second San Jose office at 1132 North Seventh Street
  • The relocation of the San Francisco office from 400 Second Street to 650 Townsend Street
  • The opening of a second San Francisco office at 1740 Cesar Chavez Street.

Ceitronics’ new and/or expanded service offerings include:

  • Expanded Network Services Capabilities

Ceitronics has acquired the Network Services Group of Cupertino Electric/San Jose and Cupertino Electric/San Francisco, increasing its staffing level dramatically. Ceitronics’ new Network Services Division specializes in structured cabling, the wiring of networks by pulling twisted-pair copper (CAT 5, CAT 6) or fiber optic cable and connecting it to servers. The group also plans and implements enterprise-wide voice, data, and infrastructure solutions.

  • IT Services and Consulting

Ceitronics is now a single source for the planning, design, integration and technical support of total hardware, software, and computer network solutions. These capabilities enable Ceitronics to plan, design, and manage the most complex IT infrastructure projects. Ceitronics also provides full information systems installation, technical support and troubleshooting. A portfolio of managed services and asset-managed services are also part of the new offering.

  • Computer Workstation Relocation

Ceitronics has acquired National Integration Company, Inc., a corporate computer workstation relocation services company headquartered in San Jose, and is now offering every aspect of relocation, including decommissioning, relocation and installation of entire networks, workstations, and server rooms. All NIC services and equipment have been rebranded as Ceitronics.
