Gregory Kerwin
Senior Associate Gregory Kerwin is the renaissance man at AHC. The multi-talented Kerwin is a writer, filmmaker and designer who has worked in marketing, media and strategic public relations for over 20 years, starting in the music and film industry.
He is an expert at pitching high-concept stories to top U.S. media, and has placed large feature articles for clients in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, USA Today, and many other influential publications. At AHC, Kerwins responsibilities include PR account management for technology and design clients, as well as creative writing and art direction for marketing communications projects.
Before joining AHC, Kerwin was affiliated with Weis Public Relations in Berkeley, where he managed PR for a number of clients, including Clif Bar, special effects designer Phil Tippett (Oscars for Jurassic Park and The Empire Strikes Back), EcoTimber environmental building products, and home designer Fu-tung Cheng. Previous to that assignment, Kerwin was a creative director for Royal Cruise Line, where he designed and produced advertising materials based on the companys innovative research-driven marketing approach.
As an independent filmmaker and media producer, Kerwin wrote and directed documentaries and commercial videos, including a documentary for fashion designer Gianni Versace. Kerwin wrote and directed one of the first generation of videos presented on MTV. Other facets of Kerwins career include marketing consulting for hypertext pioneer Ted Nelson, producing digital recordings for the Stanford Early Music Singers at Stanford University, and producing music-based radio and cable TV shows.
Kerwin studied graphic design, photography and fine art at art school, and has a BA in Film.
